Frequently asked questions
What Is The Procedure For Electrolysis?
A very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle, after which the hair is removed with tweezers. It is common to feel a momentary heat sensation or pinch.
Discomfort is minimal for most people, but individual tolerances vary greatly. Appointments are 15 or 30 minutes, depending on the treatment area. The number of treatments required depends on individuals; goals are usually accomplished between 12-18 months when adhering to the recommended treatment plan.
What Happens After A Charcoal Detox Facial Treatment?
After a session of electrolysis, it is common for the treated area to feel tender, appear red and have slight swelling. This is temporary and usually disappears within a few hours after treatment.
Scabs are part of the normal healing process and will not cause any permanent damage if they are not picked off. Applying antibacterial ointment on the treated area will often deter the scabs from forming.
