The unique CoolSculpting® fat-freezing technology is a non-surgical, scientifically proven way to reduce pockets of fat in trouble spots such as the abdomen, flanks or under the chin in as little as one session.
For individuals with healthy eating habits and an active lifestyle, Coolsculpting, or cryolipolysis, is a safe and effective way to reduce excess fat. CoolSculpting® is not a weight loss treatment. CoolSculpting® is for patients at or near their ideal body weight who want to reduce fat in one or more of the 9-FDA cleared treatment areas. CoolSculpting®’s fat-freezing technology gives long-term results that make trouble spots a lot less troubling. Fat cells don’t like the cold and at a certain temperature they will freeze. Once that happens, your body will naturally eliminate the dead cells in 2-6 months or more, resulting in up to 20%-25% reduction of fat in a treated area.
Coolsculpting® is ideal to treat areas of stubborn fat. Stubborn fat can be described as follows:
The number of fat cells is set during childhood and adolescence and varies little during adulthood.
Some individuals may have stubborn pockets of fat that are more difficult to reduce despite diet and exercise.
These stubborn pockets may vary greatly from person to person, because we all carry fat in different areas of our bodies.
The CoolSculpting® procedure is FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in the following areas of the body:
Submental (under the chin), with FDA-clearance to affect the appearance of lax tissue with submental area treatments.
Submandibular (under the jawline) areas,
Thighs (inner and outer),
Abdomen and flank,
Underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll) and upper arm. The CoolSculpting® procedure is not a treatment for weight loss.

Frequently asked questions
What Is The Procedure For CoolSculpting?
If you are a suitable candidate for this treatment, you will receive a detailed treatment plan describing the recommended treatments, with length of appointments and prices included.
Your therapist will apply a clear gel pad to the treatment area. This creates a barrier between the cooling panel and your skin. Clinical trials have demonstrated CoolSculpting® to be safe and effective in reducing fat in certain areas.
During the procedure you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site. These sensations subside as the area becomes numb.
During the treatment you will be able to read, answer emails, use the phone or take advantage of our tv with complimentary Netflix. After the applicator is detached, we will do a brief massage on the area to break up the treated fat cells and enhance the fat reduction. That’s it! You may need more than one treatment to achieve the desired results.
What Happens After A CoolSculpting Treatment?
Most patients experience little to no downtime after treatment. Following the procedure, typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity, and sensation of fullness in the back of the throat after submental or submandibular area treatment.
You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after two months. But your body may still flush out fat cells for up to four to six months after treatment.
