Profhilo Hydralift

Results are visible after only 2 sessions 4-6 weeks apart. Treatment results last for up to six months. Profhilo can work as a treatment on its own or in combination with other cosmetic treatments.

When treating the face, there is a five-point protocol (BAP, Bio Aesthetic Point, Technique). This involves five bolus injections of 0.2mm on each side of the face. The injection sites are identified using a selection criteria which aims to reduce risks to the blood vessels and nerves and maximise efficacy through diffusion. The injection sites are usually on the side of the face next to the ears, on the nasolabial folds, chin, under the eyes and on the tops of cheeks.

Downtime is minimal. The treatment usually takes effect after 3-4 weeks post treatment, when your skin starts to produce its own collagen.

You can have Profhilo treatment and continue with your day to day activities. However, we do advise you avoid wearing make-up, except for Oxygenetix make up, which we can apply in clinic after your treatment.

We also recommend that you do not go to the gym, sauna, steam-room or go swimming on the same day as treatment. You should also avoid touching the injection site. Side effects are uncommon and minimal.
